This'n That

I decided to make a new post because I couldn't stand looking at that oh soooo prego lady on my blog (see below)....

so...hmmmmm....what should I talk about?

Well, this is the kids' last week off track...things have been going smooth....they have been playingn with lots of neighbor kids because they are mostly all off track together, which makes it really nice! We have gone and done some fun stuff...but mostly just hung out at home....i've lost at Monopoly way too many times to count, but have won my share of Yahtzee games w/the boys (i'm pretty good at Yahtzee...my Dad used to play it w/me a lot growing up).

We finished Jr. Jazz this week, and I do have to say that we have some serious basketball players on our hands! They both LOVE LOVE playing..and it's so much fun to involve them in stuff that you don't have to d r a g....them to! Kai is going to play baseball this year for Bingham's Babe Ruth League....try outs (however everyone makes it...just determines what team you play on) is March 2nd...so we'll be starting that up then. Kase really loves sports that keep him running non stop..such as basketball....so he is going to try out soccer for the first time this Spring. Baseball is a little tooooooo "boring" for this child :) I love being able to enroll my boys in sports...I think keeping them active and involved in activites will create lifelong habits.....and at this age, it's fun for them to try out all kinds of different stuff....and not focus on just one thing....however, we are having to really plan ahead...because baseball alone is $120...jeez! So, off to work I go to pay for these activities!

Chloe is still taking dance lessons.....she is ALWAYS dancing....and dancing...and dancing.....I really believe that dance is this childs' thing....she copies the dancers on tv, and creates a lot of her own moves....she has rhythm...(not from me) and is always wearing her ballet shoes!!! She takes a jazz/ballet combo class...but really wants to add tap...however, she is only 3 and I think one class is plenty for now! so she pretends she is tapping on our tile....arms swinging and all! She also loves going to preschool at Challenger. She learned about Abe Lincoln today and told Juice and I that he kept important papers underneath his hat! Smarty pants! There is a new Challenger that is going up right by us...but not sure if it will be done by next year or not...but that sure would be nice!

I am working as much as they will let me ( or that I can fit in our schedule w/Juice's work), and trying to pay off bills and build our savings account back up...after almost depleting it over the last few months....

Life is great! Juice loves his job.....the Jr. High kids just love him! I love love my job....but am on the list to apply for a job at the new Riverton hospital as soon as possible...it is scheduled to open in November of this year!!! And, is only 4 min. from my home! I will miss it up at Primary....but being close to home is so nice!! So, I am keeping my fingers crossed that that all falls into place....

well...guess i'll go now...thanks for listening to my ramblings...if you made it this far! Hope life is good for you all, or at least on the way up! I am hopeful about what the future will bring.....and have been humbled by the loss of shifts that I have encountered over the last few months...and will NEVER take my job for granted. I will work when I can and save...because you just never know when the rough times will hit!

I just heard that there was a Meter Maid job for hire in Tacoma, WA and 1600 people applied ...and 800 more were in line to turn in their applications...for ONE positon. It's bad out there....and I am glad that our President is making job creation one of his priorities!!

ok...off to wrangle some children to bed!
