Help our children all receive the same amount of funding...Jordan School District

Subject: Being heard TODAY!

I need every resident from the Jordan district to gather at the capitol TODAY(Wednesday) by 4pm. Bill 292 will be heard in room 445 in the main capitol building. Bring signs that say support bill 292 and other positive things, like our children need these funds, bridge the gap etc. Any negative signs or poor behavior will distract from this bill and will not be for our good. So please everyone come. Plan to arrive early as parking is horrible. The committee room is not very big so some of you may be demonstrating in the hall or in the main lobby area. We will all plan to meet outside room 445 and go from there. Today is do or die, we don't get another shot at this. So please write your reps this morning, tell them THANK YOU for hearing this bill and then plead with them(politely) to pass this bill through committee today. Lastly, Senator Waddups is the president of the senate and the senate sponsor of this bill. He has a lot to do with this getting heard. Please send him a thank you as well. So in summary:
Step One:
Email all the reps a thank you and plea to pass bill 292
Step Two:
Be at the Capitol(in the building) by 4pm infront of room 445
Bring polite, family friendly signs supporting the bill, no negative or bashing signs, please this won't help our cause.
Step Three:
After the capitol meeting, go to Bingham to support your teachers(they are doing an informal demonstration trying to let parents know about the class size increase and lay offs and yes there are still parents who don't know this). Hopefully we will be able to bring the teachers GREAT news tonight!

Today at the capitol, we need to be heard! Please make any arrangements necessary to be there! For the sake of our children I hope this bill passes!
