what's going on in the hood...???

Well, life is busy busy...as is everyone. Almost every evening is filled w/some type of sport game or practice...or dance....but it is a lot of fun because we get to go to them all as a family...well, unless they overlap, which they do on Wednesday's sometimes...then we divide and conquer....but it is hard for us because we hate missing either of the kids' games....so that has been hard....but so far I haven't had to miss a game.....

At Kai's last baseball game, a kid was batting and Kai got a baseball hit at his mouth. This was not pretty and he ended up w/his lip in his braces, which I had to pull out....his lip was HUGE.....but still played the entire game! What a trooper! I do have to say that it is NOT fun watching your child get hurt in a game....and you want them to just be done and come sit by you for the rest of the game....his lip is fine now.....and the swelling has gone down...

Kids are pretty much outside every waking moment when they are not in school....either riding bikes/scooters, playing basketball or on the trampoline....and are exhausted by the time it is bedtime.....dang.....I am loving this warm weather!!

Juice and I have been doing lots of yard work....we finally got all the flower beds cleaned up from after Winter...and all the weeds pulled.....fertilized and mowed a few times now! This is definitely my favorite time of year...when I can work in the yard and it's not too hot! I am working on building my perennial gardens throughout my yard....had a great one at my old house...and now have to start over :( but I have learned a TON about what I like and don't like...and am only putting my MoSt favorites in my yard...because we don't ever plan on moving...so I really want to do it right!

Kids are anxiously awaiting the end of the school year......not much longer to go! And next year they will be attending the new charter school that is being built by our home...goodbye year round school......and hello long fun Summers!!!

Ok...i'm a little sunburned. I spent part of the day hanging out w/my neighbor friend and we got talking and didn't realize we were getting sunburned...oops.

Better go now.....big Mother's Day tomorrow.....and I get to sleep in!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!
