I got to volunteer in Kase's classroom when they were making something so fun...they are fuzzy caterpillars.
you take a knee high panty hose and fill it w/potting soil and grass seed.
Tie the ends with rubber bands..and a few along the middle.
Soak in water for 10 minutes.
Then lie them out on a tray, we used meat packaging trays....which you can get from your grocery store if you ask.
And add googly eyes and whatever else...
and keep lightly watered and in sunlight..and POOF'! You will have a fuzzy caterpillar in no time!
