So my oldest son Kai has exercise induced asthma...hardly ever ever ever has any problems....we keep on top of it w/his flovent he takes every day, and has maybe only once had a bad asthma attack....well, yesterday walking home from school he had an asthma attack and had to use his inhaler that's in his backpack multiple times....the school also kept all of the kids inside because of the poor air quality......It was an eye opener to me yesterday as to how the air really affects those w/respiratory problems.....

ewww! Is he ok now?
oh yeah, he's fine....he's a good kid and just got his inhaler out of his backpack and used it....I don't think he has had to use it for months and months....so just shows you how crappy it is out there.
Ya, Nik's been struggling all week. He hasn't even carried an inhaler for years. He's been fine. We keep Albuteral on hand though and he's had to use the nebulizer twice. So even though it's not a popular thought, we really need a good storm.
yeah, I am thinking I need to get a nebulizer to have here if we need it...and yes, bring on the storm.
Both our girls have had to stay inside at recess because of it also...grateful for the sprinkle today! Is this how winters normally are...either snow to the brim or inversion around the rim??
I'm thinking of buying an oxygen tank! HA! Both Brendan and I are having breathing problems too. Not as bad as Kai though... I'm glad he's okay. I am grateful for the rain today. Let's hope it's enough to get the crap out of here!
