My mom's first cell phone

my mom and I were remembering her first cell phone last night...and I swear this is it...they call it the BRICK...and you could see why! Amazing how far they have come.

The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X was the first commercially available cell phone, available for purchase in 1983 for $3,995. Talk time was around $1 per minute. Dr. Martin Cooper, inventor of the DynaTAC, made the first private cell phone call to his rival Joel Engel, head of research at Bell Labs.

OMG! HOw funny! I would love to use that in a crowded room as if it were just normal. LOL. Actually I wouldn't have the balls- but you would!! ( I Dare YOu!)
