4 minute commute

as opposed to 1 hour.  That is my new commute to work once Primary Childrens Hospital opens our new unit at Riverton HOspital.
Monday October 11th is opening day...
so if you child is sick...and you live out this way
tell your physician to admit them to Riverton....
same nurses and staff...
same care...
You will love being so close to home just like I do.

I have had SOO many trainings to attend to be able to transfer to Riverton..but it will be so worth it.  The unit is beautiful...
and I can see my house from the window on my unit....
you just find the really, really blue home above the Lowes sign...and I am next door.
That's close!
I'm sooo happy.
I have been up at "the hill" (Primary Childrens) since I graduated from
nursing school in 1999. And was an LPN and tech there before that...
so this is my first change...but
this is good...and I can't wait to help out my immediate community
and all those cute little rugrats :)

oh..and there are Xbox's in each room.
I know.
I told my son Kase that and he runs over to the granite countertop and pretends to
bash his head against the counter.....
in hopes of getting admitted.
that was NOT funny...
and...they weren't even opened yet...

Yay! So glad for you! Are a lot of you moving over there? The commute is worth it, even if you have to do your own IV's (a skill I was happy to let the IV team do). With all your experience, you'll be a great leader for them! Are you still per diem?
