this week has been a dream....really. We have pretty much had NOTHING planned the entire week so far....and i admit for a minute...only a minute...I was walking around thinking....."what should I do?".....
(Chloe likes her picture taken...can you tell?)
we have eaten an entire pack of Otter Pops, went to the pool twice, splash park thing twice, trip to Harmons to buy more popsicles once....hose on the tramp pretty much every day....neighbors over, kids to friends' houses...etc.....
played quite a few board games when it got too hot outside....had a wrestling match, and made forts ( and I let them leave them up alllll day....which usually I can't stand to do since they build them in my front room)....
it has been a great week. we are learning to just make things up as we go, and find some new things to do. The kids are still required to do all their jobs around the house (I have another post coming about this because I FINALLY have found a system of jobs/rewards that is really working).....
anyway, if you are wondering why I haven't posted anything too exciting, it's because life has slowed down for us, and we are enjoying every minute of it.....Spring was really busy for us, as will be the Fall....so this is our break. Also, Juice has been getting home from work at 3:30pm which is sooo nice! He has been taking the kids on walks to the parks when he gets home, so that I can have a little break....it's been great!
we are also enjoying every little thing our baby Cash does.....kids are still fighting over who holds him, burps him, picks out his outfit etc.....and I love it!
The other night we made smoothies and Chloe said "Mom! This is Cash's FIRST time ever seeing a blender!" sooo many firsts....and she's right! Gotta love kids to point out the simple things in life. I am a luck Mom.
