aahhh....poor little guy got a pokie! Cute camo band-aid.. he's looking a little dazed in this picture....after lots of crying :(
and below...looking over at his silly sister who was making funny faces, trying to get him to be happy after his heel poke :)
oh and notice the sticker under his sealtbelt...this is the sticker you get to pick out from the dr....Chloe loves that she got to pick it out, and placed it right in the middle of his shirt.... :)
I could hold this little guy and kiss his teethless gums all day long...and that's pretty much what I've been doing all day....i'm not kidding.
Chloe and I have had a great time lately, because since I have been taking it easy to heal my incision, we have done so much together...however it's pretty much is all done on the couch, but still.....we have read so many books and played so many new and old board games....it really has been a lot of fun for me to slow down and spend some quality time with Chloe....
Somedays all Chloe and I do all afternoon is bathe Cash, play 5 or 6 board games, pick out Cash's outfit, Chloe combs his hair, read books while I feed him, paint nails, watch movies....etc.....then the evening comes and life gets busy with the kids' sports/dance/gymnastics/homework etc....
anyway, kind of rambling...but we can't get enough of this little guy....he is such a great baby. He cries immediately when he is wet or poopy....hungry....or tired...and the rest of the time he is either sleeping or just in our arms checking us out.
Today at his 2 week check up (really 2 1/2 weeks) he weighs 8 lb 14 oz.....his birthweight was 8.2oz so he is doing great! He got his heel stick today and cute Chloe held his little hand while she closed her eyes, not wanting to watch her baby brother get poked :(
I wish I could describe how much I have loved watching our kids with him...it is so great. I highly recommend having a baby when some of your kids are older and able to help, because they are just loving this experience....and cannot get enough of him.
Today after school Kai said "Mom, ever since Cash has been here, our house seems so much happier and calm." I thought that was cute...but probably is because I'm not a crazy pregnant lady anymore....although I am sleep deprived, it's hard to be grumpy with a new, healthy baby around.
oh and don't be fooled by this post.....the first week home was horrible....it really was. But everything is going much better and we are figuring things out.....so no, it's not all roses....and if you asked a week ago I would have probably cried...but I can see the light...and it's great!

Oh Michelle, your post brought back memories for me! I agree, older siblings who help and ADORE the baby is the neatest experience ever. I too remember feeling overwhelmed the first week or two, especially with a c section, but Noah was such a good baby and I spent so much time loving it, just like you are. :) Cash is the cutest baby! Look at his face...he is sooo boy! He looks wise. ;) Sure has a TON of love surrounding him.
I am so glad to hear things are going well with a baby in the house. Sounds like you're enjoying every second! It goes too fast, doesn't it? Great job slowing down and spending all that quality time with the baby and Chloe - you'll never regret that. Sometimes I have to be reminded to stop cleaning my house and sit down with the kids. Oh, and keep posting pictures; he's adorable!
He is such a cutie! I love his face. To answer your question, you can get wonder under from a fabric store, joann's, roberts or any stores like that. They might not have that exact brand but something like it. If you need help we can get together. It is pretty easy though.
