So yesterday Kai went to his baseball tryouts for Bingham...he played last year and really enjoyed it....it is about 4 weeknights a week committment...ugh. But he never complained last year, so I told him he could play again....I probably complained more....lots of driving....eating at the snack bar for dinner 3-4 nights a week w/Juice and the kids...and sitting out in the cold for hours......BUT....I shouldn't complain...he loved it, committed to it, and did great! The last few games of the season they tried him at pitcher and he did great!! He played either first base or pitcher.....
He played on the Marlins.....and can't wait to find out Saturday what team he was "drafted" to.... :)
Last year was our first experience w/a sport where not everyone gets to play....if you are good, you play...if not, you sit on the bench.....oh and no trophy for everyone either...only the team at the end with the most wins......guess my boys are growing up :(
Oh, and Kase has NO desire to play baseball...I think it is too slow of a game for that guy....he will be playing flag football again....

I think baseball is the greatest sport to play as a kid. I loved going to the park when my brothers would play...and I even played softball. Jason got to play in High School and College...and he worked for the Bees, so needless to say WE LOVE BASEBALL!

And to think this year you'll have a newborn...YEAH!
