If you are reading this and your daughter is no longer into Barbies and you want to get rid of her Barbie clothes...drop me a line. I am in awe at how much Barbie clothes cost...especially when they only play with them for so long. Right now Chloe is OBSESSED with Barbie and her accessories....however, I refuse to buy the little trinkets because Barbie stuff is soo poorly made. My mom gave Chloe some pieces of carpet samples, and Chloe loves using them w/her Barbies...each carpet is a different room....then she gets napkins, opens them up, and that is the blanket for the bed! :)
Let me know if you want to sell me some of your used Barbie clothes....trying to think of Xmas ahead of time.
thanks.

try KSL, and craigslist. I did that for Lily a few months ago. she is OBSESSED with changing clothes and making the girls look all cool. You also have to watch out, because OH NO barbie got all hoe bag on us!! Some of the clothes, are you kidding me? seriously Mattell, Barbie should not look sleasy!!
hahaha - I like the napkin idea better! Just give her some tape and some napkins (you could buy a colored pack)....I'm sure she could come up with some creative outfits that are really cute and stylish and modest!! ;)-
AND it would keep her more busy while you take naps!! hahahaha!
I will look as I continue to pull things out of storage, but I think we got rid of most of Kowhai's Barbie stuff last year. It hadn't been played with since we moved here.
I don't have any, but I have to tell you how much I love the napkin and carpet idea...such a creative girl!
Yikes. I am not looking forward to that. I am laughing out loud right now about your ringworm comment on my blog. That was so funny.
That's so cute. I wish I'd saved my Barbie clothes - they got handed down and down and down to Colleen. Aunt Pearl had knitted some and Aunt Mary sewed. Grandma did too and they were so nice!!!
Oh, that brings back memories. I LOVED playing barbies. I used to beg Jenny to play with me - after she no longer thought it was fun. We have some OLD clothes you can have if you want, but they aren't beautiful. If Chloe needs them to look cool, these are not the clothes for her, but if she doesn't really care, I'll send them your way. Let me know.
Or you could teach her to make her own. It's fun and much much cheaper.
I am practicing for when my niece will be old enough to play with dolls and I have made quite a few by now.
