here is my poor big brother that got a baseball knee injury the day before coming up...sad thing is now he has to get surgery this week on Thursday for a ruptured tendon.....after 3 yrs. of chemotherapy and prednisone....his joints were hit the hardest, and has had knee problems as an adult....but fortunately hasn't had surgery up til now....the baseball injury was the straw that broke the camel's back.....he was in great spirits and did not let his injury keep him down...not a bit!
well...we are now home...back to reality. But boy did we make the most of our trip! I can't even count the number of hours that the kids got to swim....it was so much fun! Chloe can now swim w/her face under the water and jump in from the side! this is a huge improvement from earlier when she wouldn't even get her eyes in the water!
The boys are like fish and are all over the pool...perfecting their swimming skills...and playing fun games in the water!
Yesterday we spent the day w/all day passes purchased by my parents for the zip line, alpine slide and alpine coaster......I can't count the number of times the kids went down each...a ton! My boys both went down the zip line, and so did Juice and I. Kase weighs 76lbs and you had to weigh 75lbs to go down...so he was SO glad he made it!! I can't believe they dared to go!! brave boys. Chloe went on the alpine slide and coaster many times.....and so did Juice and I. we had soo much fun and today when I asked my kids what their favorite part of our trip was, it was yesterday...with the slides etc....
Then we woke up, got packed up (the worst part...but not worse than unpacking it when you get home), and let the kids swim for another 5 hours....I am not kidding. The fell asleep tonight at 9pm...which was nice because it was almost midnight each night of our trip!
On another note, the boys found out what teachers they have and they both got the ones I was hoping for...and if you are a mom, you know this is a HUGE deal :)
ok...back to reality....laundry, dishes, errands, paying bills, work...blah blah blah.
