(sorry, these pictures look a little out of focus because I clicked on the "dissolve" option on accident for the slide show, and inbetween slides it goes grainy...grrr...didn't feel like fixing it)
boy did we have THE best time camping....I could go on and on about all the fun memories we made with our kids.....from hiking, to exploring, to the "critters", chipmunks, squirrels, deer, mice..ugh...the bathrooms, marshmallows, hot dogs, tin foil dinners, dirt, streams, and much much more! Oh, and the "river" we walked to the middle of and then all stood together as a family on a huge rock!!! Only to realize there was no one around to take our picture...since we had hiked up there by ourselves......ha!! I'll post more later...but this was definitely one of the funnest things we have done together as a family......it really is the simple things that make the best memories!

Camping is SO much work for the mom, but everyone has so much fun that it's worth it. I just have to remind myself when I plan stuff like that, that we're MAKING MEMORIES, which is worth the effort. Great job! (And I love the slide show.)

Good job! You guys went on quite an adventure. The more you do it, the more you get hooked on that simple life out there in the mountains!
