Pain Pills....kill

ok, that's a dorky title...but so so true!! I cannot believe how many people in the news lately are dying from prescription overdoses....and they are calling them "accidental".....not sure how I feel about that term.
So maybe you were not "trying" to kill yourself by taking all of those meds....but seriously. Educate yourself on what you are taking. Ask your pharmacist about the drug....never ever put something in your mouth if you don't know why you are taking it....and bring your list of prescriptions to your pharmacist and have them take a look to see if anything you are taking clashes and should not be taken together....esp. if you have a few prescriptions from a few different dr's...such as your PCP and your OB, allergist...whatever....

I know there is also a huge population that have pain pill addictions....and I am sure that it is hard to kick...but really, you are a time bomb waiting to go off....and if you know someone that is addicted to pain pills, I would hope that you do the right thing and talk to that person and not just watch...because sooner or later it is going to kill them....or the pills are going to end up in the hands of their children.
