I called Discover Card today (whom I don't like very much....haven't had great luck w/them thus far...) and asked if they would cut our interest rate in half please...and they said YeS! and did! I was thrilled! Try it...sure is saving us a lot of money......when we finished our basement we ran out of cash...and had to put our carpet on a Lowes card....well, when the 12 mos. no interest was up, we transfered it to Discover.....and the interest rate wasn't so great...but kept us from paying back interest on Lowes...so we transfered it.....and now am pleased to say it will be paid off a lot sooner now our interest rate is cut in half! Wootwoot! Love love our basement, but finishing 2800 sq. feet was like building another home....it will all be paid off soon though....and if Juice and my Dad didn't do all the work....it would have been a LoT more $$!
