misc....

so this morning, Chloe walked over to our nativity set on the table and put her hands on her hips and said "Wake up baby Jesus!!! You have been sleeping ALLLL day!!"

so funny!

also, kind of on the same note...Kai will be playing Joseph in our church program on Sunday.....Kase is in the chorus and is a Wiseman....he practices his songs daily, and is very, very excited.....Kai said to me "Mom, Mary only comes up to my shoulder! She is a 2nd grader! But at least I don't have to kiss her" which is funny, because Kai's only a 3rd grader....funny how one grade difference is such a big deal when you are little....

we have been super busy here at our house...from school programs, to me working, to shopping, to Chloe's dance program this Wednesday.....Kai has a big thing at school on Wed. that I get to help at...they are having a 'real' community set up where they have a set amt. of 'money', and they have to buy food, furniture, pay bills etc....

also, tomorrow night is Pac meeting and Kai has earned his Wolf...and will get that tomorrow night! He has been working all year on this and is so excited! Then we have the big Madsen family Christmas party at our house on Saturday night...so lots to do for that!

But all in all it's fun stuff, and we are all healthy and happy...and that's what's most important.....December gets busy busy, but I try to take it a day at a time.....oh also, Saturday night we drove down Christmas Street with the kids, and all through neighborhoods to look at lights.....you know, gas is cheap now, might as well drive :)
