Oh Baby!

Cash Benjamin Peterson
6 days old

I forgot a little bit about life with a newborn....wow are they all consuming...but boy are they cute!  We just can't get enough of this little guy.  My kids come straight home from school and if they don't have an activity to go to, they spend the entire evening holding, kissing and playing with Cash.  I knew they would love him, but this is beyond what I expected...they all just adore him and are so gentle with him...it is the greatest thing to watch.
I am nursing and forgot how much the first 3ish weeks are NO FUN AT ALL when nursing....with engorgement etc....won't go into details...but I can do it, and I will....it will be worth it.....he is a great eater....and I am soooo happy to be his mom!
day 2 of life
right after the c/section...the lovely after delivery shot.
oh I love their little mouths!
Juice is sooo cute with him....he does and says the cutest things to him.
in his little bili light blanket/sleeper...still pretty jaundiced, but getting better...
Daddy holding Cash last night....so so cute.

Ooooh! He is so cute! I'm so glad to hear that Cash is being loved- I didn't doubt that he would be- but it sounds like there is an overabundance for him. He is absolutely beautiful.

Congratulations again on such a perfect little baby!

Good work Michelle! And congratulations on your determination to breastfeed even when it's hard at first. It's so worth it. You have a perfect little family - no wonder you're so happy, counting your blessings.

You guys did a good job! Don't you just love how the first few weeks of nursing goes? Isn't it funny how NO ONE talks about it? I wished someone would have said "It's like your going to have a razor latch onto your nipple while your so full you feel like your going to explode!" Why didn't they teach that in school?

Oh, he's so cute! I love the pics you posted. It almost makes me want another one!! Good luck with the nursing... just remember how sweet it is after you all get the hang of it and your sidekicks stop swelling. :-)

I'm so happy for you! And boy are you RIGHT about nursing! I'm still struggling, but now it's the opposite problem - not enough milk. Anyway, if you ever need any help with anything, I'd be happy to drive out and help! Let me know if you need anything, congratulations!!!
