Juice got to hold him first..and kept kissing him through his mask :) My mom also got to come into the operating room...I was so happy that she got to be there too....She was a huge help to me...

Cash Benjamin Peterson
(Benjamin is Juice's grandfather and fathers' name)
was born on April 30th at 0758 via C/Section....he weighed 8lb 2 oz 21 inches....
he now is down to 7lb 7oz...but is nursing great and is just the cutest thing ever!!! We don't think he really looks like any of our kids...but time will tell, I guess :) He has brown eyes and brown hair (surprise!)
He is in perfect health and we are both doing great....my husband has been up here and is just wonderful! I have had such great nurses......and great care.
We are so in love with this little guy! We have waited so long for him to join our family! The kids are madly in love with him, and keep calling me asking when he gets to come home.....he has already racked up millions of kisses!
I am just so happy right now...and am enjoying every moment with him. I am staying at the hospital until they kick me out on Tuesday morning...ish.....It's good for me to recover here as long as i'm able......and insurance pays through Tuesday....

So exciting! Glad everything went well. Congrats! He is so cute! Let the nursery have him- take an ambien and GET SOME SLEEP before you have to go home! It was the best thing I ever did.

Michelle, you probably don't think I read your blog anymore...but I totally do (I have just been bad at leaving comments, sorry!). Congratulations on the new bundle! He is BEAUTIFUL, but that's no surprise because all your kids are;) I LOVE his name. In fact, we are kinda sorta planning on naming our next boy that (spelled with a "K" instead). So, you have great taste! Have SO much fun with him Michelle!
Oh Michelle! Cash is beautiful! Your family looks so perfect with him in the pics! I am brimming with smiles and joy for you right now. I agree - he is his own person with his own look. I just love seeing such a happy family! You look great too, Michelle. I'm glad you are staying the full time. Even though you're anxious to get home, it's a bit overwhelming when you're actually there. You need and deserve nursing care.

I'm so excited for you! Congratulations! I can't wait to see more pictures of him, but the ones you posted are adorable. I especially love the one with all 4 kids - reminds me of my first picture with all 4 of mine. One of my very favorite things about having kids is watching the older ones nurture and care for the younger ones and that will be so fun for you with your kids being a bit older this time around. Anyway, I'm thinking about you and wishing you an infection-free recovery!
