"sliding" into home...Kai needs to work on his sliding :) he was safe, but still gets nervous about sliding and skinning a knee! :)

Kai had his first game of the year tonight....after MANY MANY practices (3-4 per week)...I will say that I was actually hoping that it got rained out tonight because it was a LOOONG day....and it was freezing cold outside....but nope...didn't get rained out.....so we sat there and froze...and it hailed some white stuff that looked like Dip-n' Dots ice cream......

But, they won...and Kai was thrilled!!! He plays first base, and then rotates in to pitch once in a while....he got a few kids out and scored a run for the team....so he was proud...and I guess it was worth sitting in the cold....

Baseball season has the crappiest weather.....so unpredictable....and we never have enough warm stuff.....

also, the guy sitting next to me had the yummiest looking hot chocolate...

.and no matter how far I stuck my pregnant belly out to show him how w/child I was..and that I was freezing and that he should share it with me.....he still didn't share it with me....
jerk.
