NEVER leave your child alone in the bathtub or around ANY water...never.

I know I get a little paranoid about these things...but childhood accidents is something that most of the time can be prevented if you keep it in the front of your mind ALL the time. Don't be distracted by cleaning your home, doing laundry etc.....
Here is something that will make it seem SO real. This little guy is up at Primary's right now...his mother has blogged about what happened to them. Scroll down a bit to right after the newborn pictures, and read about what happened to this family.....so so sad.

Sometimes we get so "busy" and become relaxed in how we do things, but really shouldn't when it comes to our children's safety. I know this mom would do anything to go back in time....and replay those few seconds.

No matter how big your kids are, you need to be right there when they are in the tub....older kids hit their heads and go under the water...and can drown. Grab a book and sit by the tub....whatever you need to do....

here is the link to the blog.

sorry to be a downer...but I don't think we can be reminded enough.

We are praying for Bronson too. One of our friends is a friend of this family and she had appealed to all her friends to put him in our hearts and we have. Thanks for the link to the blog.

Thank you so much for this reminder! My little Avery is the same age as Bronson and reading this blog and seeing his little body lying there in the PICU is a serious wake-up call for me. I'm going to tell my kids about this so they can see how fast it can happen. I'll keep that sweet family in my prayers.

Michelle, funny that you posted this...I found the blog through BBC and have been checking it a few times a day. Bronson is Noah's age. I hope soooo much that he pulls through this okay. One of my WORST nightmares. I have always been paranoid around the tub or any water...can't even take my eyes off Noah while he's bathing. Lots of hope that Bronson heals....
