Christmas 2009!

Christmas was soo much fun!  We are still enjoying it over here....lots of Barbies to rip out of their boxes and Geodes and crystals to grow....even a venus fly trap to plant...seriously.  Kids got some very well thought out, nice gifts....they are having a great time....here are a few pics that I have...didn't get many...too much to do!

Kids open a present on Christmas Eve and it's always pj's...so here's a picture on Christmas Eve of them in their pajamas...and some pics from them at my parents' home on Christmas Eve...where we go every year for a very fancy dinner where the kids get to drink out of wine glasses...and my mom prepares a delicious dinner!  They also (along w/their cousin) tracked Santa...which was lots of fun! 

I love Christmas....so much fun for us and the kids!  I have nothing but great memories of Christmas as a kid.  My parentss always (and still do) put so much thought into not only the gift, but how it's wrapped...and sometimes even a scavenger hunt to find your present! Lots of fun!

And...the best part of Christmas this year (which we have never done before), is that 100% of the gifts that were purchased, we bought with CASH!  I think that's pretty cool!  No post Christmas bills.....yippee!

oh and the Nerf guns were a total hit!

So...the favorite gift was the balancing bird...   they can all even balance them on their nose...pretty cool!

Chloe got the new Princess and the Frog pj's! She was in heaven! And wore them all day on Christmas....alllll day!
