So sad.

a great friend of ours lost his son Sunday....and my boys lost a good friend. Parents should not bury their children. so sad. We will miss you Bentley, and we are so sorry Jeromy.

BENTLEY GAGLIA

Bentley David Gaglia 1997 ~ 2009 On Sunday, October 4, 2009 Bentley was taken back to Heaven so he could be with his grandpa once again. He was the most beautiful, strong and courageous boy during his fight against Epilepsy. Bentley is survived by his parents, Shawna and Michael Leetham, Jeromy Wilde and Mark and Dannie Gaglia, along with his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and his dog Sammy. Bentley was born on February 1, 1997 and everyone that would meet him would never be the same. Bentley had the most beautiful eyes and would light up any room he walked into. Every person that came into his life he touched. He has a sweet spirit about him and had a sense of calm. During Bentley's battle with Epilepsy, all he wanted was to be a normal boy. He loved sports with a passion, and excelled at everything he played. He loved his Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Utah Jazz. He was a gifted athlete and had a golf swing that would make any golfer envious. Bentley also had a love of music far beyond his 12 years of age. Everything from Motown, R&B, Rock, Country and especially the Beatles. He loved spending time with family and friends. Family gatherings and parties were Bentley's time to shine. He always wanted to be front and center. He always liked to hang out with the adults; he was an old soul who fit in with kids as well as the grownups. He always looked forward to Sundays during the fall, when he would get to put on his Bears jersey and go watch the game with Jeromy. We would like to thank all of our friends and family for the amazing amount of love and support through this difficult time. The amount of generosity and giving is truly amazing. We would also like to say thank you to the wonderful staff and Primary Children's Hospital for all of their dedication and help through his battle. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan, Utah. We would like to invite friends and family to view Bentley, Thursday, October 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. also located at the mortuary

Kase was telling me about this the other day. You are right...parents should never have to bury their children. So very heart wrenching.
