After much thought...I have deactivated my Facebook account. And I feel sooo good about this decision. I decided that I spent waaaay too much time on there doing pretty much nothing. I also think Facebook is ok, but has a way of crossing too many paths sometimes......when you have family members, co workers, neighbors, school friends, new friends, your children's teachers, husband's friends...etc....it can get a little crazy. I would let things bother me that shouldn't bother me....and worry about things that are out of my control....
It is silly that it consumed a lot of my time, but it is the truth....and I feel that my true friends have my email address and check my blog and I can stay in contact with them that way....
So, if you noticed I was gone....no real reason why, other than it was a time suck. And, I tried to limit myself...but it didn't work.....and I have too much to do.....and 3 cute kidos that need my attention. So, don't worry, you didn't say anything to offend me....to make me delete my acct...it was because I wasted too much time on that thing and had to just let it go.
Ok...again, lame post....but thought i'd blog about it.....obviously my life isn't very exciting right now.....but that's life :) love you all!

You know, I've thought facebook is totally evil for a LONG time. That is why you never see me post anything on there. WAY too many worlds collide that I don't want crossing paths. I'm proud of you for taking that step. :)
Geez.....Good-bye Wells Fargo and good-bye Facebook....what are you going to get rid of next?!? Hopefully not me! :)

I am pretty close to doing the same thing. Honestly I am waisting time on it. I care about people, but I feel like I sit around waiting for something. Like what? Some comment to my comment? The games the gifts the everything, it is just to much. I have de-activated my games. I am using facebook to stay in touch with people I cant e-mail. I have been shocked at how much less time I spend at the computer. Wow! I cook, clean and be a Mommy!
