10 kids were missing from my son's class today at school due to flu like symptoms...ugh. And 7 from my other son's class....
This is going to get bad.
At first I was hesitant about the vaccine, but not anymore...bring it on.
It will be 2-3 weeks before the adult injectables are here....which will be for pregnant women and children with diabetes, asthma etc......those children cannot get the flu mist....so I get to wait, and so does my son.....my other two kids will have to wait to see if there are any available because they are older than 47 months...but have no other health problems....so we wait...and hope that we don't get this junk.....many neighbors are coming down with it, so I know it's only a matter of time......
I can't believe that they expect us to take care of all the swine flu that comes into PCMC...yet we still are not vaccinated...nice.

That is crazy! I don't live that far from you and when I helped at school last week there weren't even any kids missing in my kid's class.
I know, you'd think the PCMC nurses would definitely be at the top of the list - and pregnant besides!
Guess what? Madden has the swine flu. The poor kid....and his even poorer mom. Of course he had to get it when we are in HAWAII!! He is such a trooper though....he jumped off a 25 foot cliff into the ocean yesterday and then swims to shore and proceeds to throw up all over the beach!~ hahahaha! Even though he feels like crap he still wants to do everything and go everywhere. I'm nervous it is turning into pneumonia though.....cross your fingers it doesn't!!!
