Happy Birthday Dad!

I love love my Dad. I really do have the BEST Dad....he can do anything. He is the hardest worker I know.....he now owns his own company http://www.batescustomglass.com/

He has finished (along w/my husband) our basements in this home and our old....built pergolas, multiple decks....everything....I have yet to see something he cannot do.....anything we say we may buy, he finds a way to build it himself. He has saved us tons of money by doing this.

He is the most thoughtful and generous person you will ever know. He is always looking for ways to help out and never complains.....he is very patient and we have learned many things from him.

I love that my children get to be around him so often...they think he is just wonderful!! He always did stuff with us growing up, and I have nothing but good memories from my childhood....I remember him taking us to the canal to catch water skeeters when we were younger!! Multiple games of UNO and Yahtzee at the kitchen table, and multiple trips to the rollerskating rink (49th Street Galleria :)...

thanks Dad...I hope you have a wonderful day! Can't wait to celebrate it with you on Friday!

Love,
Michelle

I love to read your blog! Dad really loved your birthday tribute. The pictures you take are un-believable. I think you missed your calling as a photgrapher. Maybe you could volunteer to take photos as a historian for your new charter school??? Love, Mom

Water Skeeters?! I haven't heard of that since I was a little girl and caught them in my grandparent's "crick"! Happy Birthday to your awesome dad.
