we celebrated the holiday with a few hours of swimming at the pool then to my parents' home for good ol fashioned fireworks out of the pack....the kids LOVE LOVE watching their dad light the fireworks....and the kids love doing sparklers...
and I love the simplicity of this holiday that we have maintained at our home....it's one of my favorite holidays because there are no big events to attend, presents to buy or high expectations....
and I plan on keeping it this way.
