Well, today started out great, went to the pool, got some sun, got some lunch....got Kai's glasses fixed...yes, they already broke....and then as Chloe was getting out of the van, she was holding onto the inside of the van and the door shut with her fingers inside.... ugh! I heard a loud, bad scream and dropped the groceries....and had to open the door back up to get her hand out. It was so sad....this is our Odyssey which is suppossed to have sensors to prevent this...since it happened on the automatic door...but her fingers must have been too tiny to set off the sensors..dumb. Anyway, she is fine, fingers are ok..not broke..but poor thing! Oh, and if you have kids, you know that swimming all day, then no nap, and then crushing fingers...and then a neighborhood picnic for dinner, makes for a long day for a 3 year old! ugh. I guess it's kind of a rite of passage, right? to get your fingers smashed.

Oh my god!!! Poor baby! Getting your fingers smashed is one of those things we all have to endure at one time or another...ugh!
