Just have to say congrats to my little brother Cliff......he finished the 50 mile race in Idaho today....he finished it in 11 hrs.....he had my Dad there helping him out at the aide stations etc....and for some pacing....my Dad also is a long distance runner and has run that race before....I guess it was a lot colder than it usually is this time of year (yeah, here too!) and he had to run through quite a bit of snow....
Way to go Cliff! Next up is the Wasatch 100 in September...where he will run all throughout the Wasatch Mtns. for 100 miles! He has finished this a few years ago, and wants to better his time....insane, I know.
Running has always been a huge part of our family......as kids our lives revolved around this race or that.....but we had a lot of fun cheering Dad on! I also remember living in West Jordan and driving my Dad up to the Zoo to run home...I remember being sad, hoping he makes it home ok...and he always did!
