Juice and I had a great time in Park City...we were there for 2 nights...no children....it was eerily (is that a word?) quiet.....we did a lot of shopping at the outlet mall, and on Main Street...ate lunch at Redrock and had dinner at a great Mexican restaurant up by the Alpine slide......then one night made dinner in the condo and watched movies....hung out on the balcony and chatted forever....nice to not get interrupted!
The only bad thing is I coughed the entire time up there.....I had strep last Monday, which went away pretty quick with the antibiotics....but i had bad chest congestion and cough that was making me crazy...well, Juice thought i was dying....so on the way home from Park City, I promised him I would run back into the Urgent Care in S. Jordan and see what they think.....well, they did 4 chest xrays, 3 back to back nebulizer treatments (my oxygen was 88% when I got there) gave me a shot of Rocephin, and antibiotic in one butt cheek, then in the other, I got steroids...Solumedrol......turns out I have pneumonia....ugh....so, I got a really good cough medicine script, an inhaler, a new antibiotic to cover the pneumonia, and Prednisone for 5 days.....blah........I left there very hopeful though that this would kick it in the butt! And only a few hrs. later, I feel sooooooooooooooooo much better already....maybe it's the butt shots...who knows....but I have hardly coughed in the last few hrs.....I am amazed...and now wish I would have gone in sooner......but oh well! I was determined to have a great weekend, and we did....thanks mom and dad for watching the kids! They had a blast and you guys spoiled them!!!
So, here's to a great week coming up.....we have lots of plans since the kids are off track...so I am glad to be on the right track again!!!! And, I have had lots of antibiotics, so I am not contagious....so don't worry :)

WOW, this sounds amazing!! I'm so jealous! We get out every six months with no kids, usually for about 2 hours... lol Just long enough to rush through dinner and get back to the babysitter before our kids turn into pumpkins. I'm way jealous of your getaway!

(I started week 2 this week, although week one was so easy it almost bored me, week 2 definitely was a different story!!! I'm going to need my recovery day tomorrow! LOL)
It's so nice to have time away. Too bad my baby won't take a bottle or we might get away too! Sorry you have been so sick, but glad you are on the mend. I think our household is finally on the mend too, although my cough is lingering. Blah!
Of course you get sick the weekend you go away. It sounds so fun though. Did you go to Baja Cantina? Because that is my favorite mexican resteraunt.
I have never heard of toucan cantina. I will have to go try it. I get the chicken chimichungas (I don't know how to spell that) when I go. They are the best. Also their dessert is soooo good but I can't think about that too much because I am on a dessert diet, only 2 desserts a week. Instead of 100.
Fun for you guys! I am totally jealous! I'm glad you are feeling better now...no fun being sick, but at least you got to have fun while you were sick, right?
